Interim Manager Promotion Sales -1&1 Internet AG (today IONOS), Montabaur
With more than eight million customer contracts, IONOS (then 1&1 Internet AG) is the leading European provider of hosting services, cloud services and cloud infrastructure.
Task:Short-term takeover (with 1 day's notice) of operational sales to bridge a vacancy. Search and training of a new sales manager.
Results:Despite the very short-term takeover of a large sales organization with over 270 employees, 5 regional managers, 25 team leaders at a critical time (new sales strategy), stability was maintained for months and at the same time a previously developed but controversial new sales strategy was successfully implemented. A new sales manager was sought, who was trained by me and then handed over complete management responsibility.

Strategy and feasibility and profitability study of a door to door and promotion sales channel. Development of recommendations for action and action plan. Creation of the remuneration model and recruiting concept. Active support of the management in the preparation and introductory phase.

Task:Sales reorientation of the company after insolvency. Strategy definition with the CEO and report to the board of directors.
Results:On behalf of the insolvency administrator, we were able to keep and expand the most important major customers. The sales reorientation was initiated and thus the basis for the continued existence of the company was created.
